The Wren Coastal is located directly across Highway 544 from Coastal Carolina University at Founders Drive. Your student can walk to class, the gym, dining, and Brooks Stadium in minutes — no car required, no parking pass needed, and no relying on shuttles. This is the closest off-campus housing to CCU.

Housing Options

We offer two options to fit your student's needs. Our 14 townhomes are three-story residences with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms located within a fully gated community with controlled access. Our 7 single family homes offer 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms in a traditional house layout. Both options feature private bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms so your student has their own space.

Fully Furnished & Move-In Ready

Every home at The Wren Coastal is fully furnished — living room furniture, bedroom sets, kitchen appliances, and a full-size washer and dryer in each unit. Your student just needs to bring their clothes and personal items. No furniture shopping, no hauling a couch across the state, no extra expenses.

Boutique Community

With only 21 homes total, The Wren Coastal is a small, tight-knit community — not a massive apartment complex with hundreds of units. Your student will know their neighbors and live in a quieter environment focused on students who are serious about their college experience.

Professional Management

The Wren Coastal is professionally managed by Coastal Property Management Group. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, and our team is available to address any concerns throughout the lease term.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are any utilities included in my rent?

Yes - The Wren Coastal provides grounds keeping, lawn maintenance and exterior pest control at no additional cost.

What utilities will I need to set up for my new home at The Wren Coastal?

Residents will be responsible for the water and electric bill. For any services not billed directly to the tenants, The Wren Coastal will charge back the additional utility cost for each unit to the residents of that unit.

How do my roommates and I go about signing our new lease?

The first step is for each roommate to complete the questions on the "Contact Us" page of The Wren Coastal website. Once that is completed, a member of our team will contact the group to schedule a time to stop by and sign your lease.

Do appliances come with my new home?

Yes - each home at The Wren Coastal comes fully furnished with stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove and in-unit washer/dryer. Bedroom and living room furniture is also included.

Is The Wren Coastal a gated community?

Our 14 townhomes are located within a fully gated community with controlled access entry and secured residential unit access. Our 7 single family homes are located within the same neighborhood but outside the gated area.
